Hemova™ Hemostatic Gauze Dressing is composed of biocompatible regenerated cellulose that has been chemically treated to become water-soluble. It contains no added chemical agents or additives.

When placed in contact with a moist oral wound, the material dissolves and transforms into a soft, gelatinous matrix. With gentle pressure, this matrix adheres to the wound surface, forming a protective barrier that helps control bleeding and shield the site from further irritation.

The dressing naturally dissolves within a few days and is safe if swallowed. Any excess material may be easily removed by rinsing with sterile water or saline solution.
